in reply to Muse

I have had various experiments go wrong when mixing things. Some of the conclusions are:

  1. Don't use a blender to make whipped cream - and don't forget to make sure that the cap of the blender bowl is well attached. It can be really hard to get whipped cream off of those popcorn ceilings. (I have gotten whipped cream on the ceiling using other methods as well - and it remains equally difficult to remove. My advice is to have a nice smooth ceiling with semi-gloss paint.)
  2. Cream turns to butter if whipped with too much enthusiasm.
  3. A VitaMix blender is not a good way to clean paint brushes.
  4. Kitchen Aides will mix anything but they are kinda slow about it.

All of this about mixing reminds me that I've now got about ten cubic yards of material - half of which is steaming, stinking compost - that is going to be needed to mixed.

@Karl Auerbach my dad was a milkshake on the ceiling guy.

This is not my cat

I often see him sitting on some bins (that's British for dumpsters) as I cycle home

He's usually busy doing important cat things (sitting and staring), but occasionally I'm allowed to approach and say hello

Not for too long though. He's got to get back to cat business. That sitting and staring's not going to do itself

The European Parliament is voting again THURSDAY 26th at 11:00 on Chat Control. The Commission, Council, multiple tech giants, the Conservatives (EPP), and several MEPs from S&D and Renew stand united in favouring indiscriminate mass surveillance.

Been working on a browser version of BRIG. No install. Interactive. Looking for beta testers; message me if you're interested.

BRIG Is a visualisation tool that draws circular genome comparison plots. The user provides a reference genome and a set of query genomes which are aligned using BLAST. Genomes are bacteria sized (< 20Mbp). Colour gradient shows alignment identity. Users can also provide tables of coordinates for their own annotations on the plot.

We have a sad tale today from Manchester Piccadilly station.

This is Chocolat. Or at least that's the name printed on their foot.
They're a lovely, cuddly black kitty who was sadly separated from their owner on Platforms 3 & 4 about 19.14.

We heard a tinkle of broken glass and helped their owner tidy up however she had left before I could pass this lovely kitty back to her owner.
Unable to find her on the nearby train we are a bit lost.

Please share this far and wide, across any social media and maybe we can help reunite this poor kitty with their rightful owner.
We will ensure Lost Property here look after her in the meantime.

No wonder the RSS reader #NextcloudNews is one of the more popular Nextcloud apps!

I've seen several folks express the idea that it's hard to leave Facebook.

That was not my experience.

I stop visiting websites all the time. When I quit FB, I simply stopped going to FB. Same with reddit. Same with twitter.

You just stop.

👩‍🎤…I still got some #punk rock cred! So, it's last session after 3 days of #UndoneCS. I admit I zoned out, had trouble concentrating on Nils Bonfils' talk “Cultivating a Historicist Sensibility through Permacomputing”.
Through my mind haze, I hear Nils say the word “#anarchist”, then, “#anticapitalist”. Suddenly I'm wide awake & completely focused.
#PunksNotDead

I'm glad too as this #permacomputing stuff is extremely interesting & definitely important to future of #FOSS.
