Sounds interesting!
I image the Claude agent would need LOTS of access to the host system/local PC with open 'Net access to accomplish this?
The functionality sounds useful but I worry about giving a semi-autonomous agent with potential back doors that much access to my PC/laptop.
Perhaps a separate clean PC or a virtual host would help contain this security problem?

Just a note that less than 5% of soy production is for human consumption (soy beans, tofu, tempeh, soy milk, etc. excluding vegetable oil). The rest is used for direct and processed animal feed (~75%), biofuels (~4%), and vegetable oil (~14%)
So, folks can keep eating soy and soy products, but best to avoid soy cooking oil, and reduce or eliminate animal consumption.

"A concept known as the Szilard point helps to contextualize the issues arising from excessive competition for grants. Named after the Hungarian-born physicist Leo Szilard, who wrote a short story [1] satirizing the bureaucratic nature of scientific funding, this metric describes the threshold at which the total cost of competing for a grant equals (or surpasses) the value of the available funding. These costs are incurred by scientists in writing proposals, by their peers in reviewing them and by the administrative systems that run the process. The question is, which costs more: the research being funded, or the application process itself?"

Point of no returns: researchers are crossing a threshold in the fight for funding

An example: some years ago, a friend, easily 40 years older than me, told me the following story. With a role as treasurer of the Erasmus program that organises and, critically, funds undergraduate exchanges between universities in Europe, upon running the numbers, realised the following: that the stipendiary, travelling, and hotel expenses of the committee members equalled or slightly surpassed the entirety of the funds allocated to the students themselves for the year. Many uhms and ahs were raised, yet, the next year no invitation arrived to continue as treasurer ...

That was probably the biggest reason I wasn't able to make it work with a simple RPi desktop machine, I need ONLYOFFICE to work with Word documents, and LibreOffice sadly has issues with more complex files (which have caused data loss in the past, so I'm weary of using it for Office files).
I might need to revisit the RPi desktop project...

A Caring Economy Requires Building Bridges—Not Burning Them
...One of Ai-jen Poo’s role models is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who understood very well the advantages of combative organizing models as well as the power of joining with your one-time enemies to build bridges toward change. Now, in the shadow of the civil rights era, as opponents of fairness and justice rev up with increasing hatred and vitriol, a new generation of organizers—notably led by women of color—is innovating new approaches to organizing that borrow from these deep and old notions of community and love. They point the way forward toward a future that is better for all through a politics and practice that potentially engages everyone in achieving change.
