The 2023 Ubuntu Summit has been living in my head rent free... especially now that it is only two weeks away šŸ˜

If you want to get ahead on your summit game, be sure to check out the posted timetable here: https://events.canonical.com/event/31/ngtimetable/. We have excellent talks and workshops across nine different tracks ranging from using #Ubuntu on #ARM-based laptops to using #SLURM with #Kubernetes for efficient #HPC job scheduling.

Hope to see you there, whether it be via a WiFi šŸŒ or IRL šŸ¤™ connection!

@geerlingguy recently had a interview with @Raspberry_Pi co-founder Eben Upton.
A really interesting interview which gives a lot of insight into their challenges during the pandemic, and also about their philosophy as a company.

The chassis of the #PineTab-V (the first @risc_v tablet) will be black to differentiate it from from the #Arm-based #PineTab2 available in silver-gray.
Hope you like it šŸ˜€

Recently I found that quite a few of my #Twitter and #Mastodon followers are working in high-performance #computing (HPC). At first I was surprised because Iā€™m not a #HPC person, even if I love high performance computers. Then I realized that there are quite few overlaps, and one of my best friends is also deeply involved in HPC. My work, #logging, is also a fundamental part of HPC environments.

I always have respect for the #RaspberryPi as it started the idea of a computer that is very small and very low energy consumption #ARM #Linux

My @PINE64 order arrived early!

Definitely excited to build my new #solarpowered #ARM #blade #cluster!

My ultimate goal is to replace my power-hungry #homelab server with these little fellas.

This is my # now ! @PINE64 # # @Rockchip #

The board and SSD are powered by a #. There are only 2*1TB SSDs installed, but I would like to install 6 of them in the future!

It's comfortably running my @matrix # right now!
