i love blender but that did not look like it used cycles, but evee - I'm not even really sure what they would get out of using cycles for such a non pbr look they used during the film

i enjoyed Flow but surprised it won an award tbh, the animation was basic for 2025 with a lot of things, like the water for instance not being simulated or rendered particularly accurately or in a stylized manner

On a summery, 70-degree day at Dolores Park, Trevor Mead walked out of his apartment at 20th and Dolores streets at about 6 p.m. and started making a lap around the park.

But he’s not just any pedestrian. Calling the Website gives an "Error 503 - Service Unavailable" and the uberspace-supervisord.log warns

everytime, the worker.php is called.

I switched to maintenance mode until I have an idea of what this is about and where to start to take care of it.

The last five signs of life showed this Friendica-log entry

thank you for your quick view at my log-excerpts.
So i will give Uberspace-support a try.

Anyway during the last weeks i noticed lots of reports related to high load and database-problems.
From time to time i had to call dica.interfel.de twice to get an answer. These days libranet.de always needs two or three calls to get any result.

Fun fact: “Update and shut down” is a lie. What it does it: Update, reboot, update some more, shut down.

Unfortunately, on my machine the reboot means booting to Linux (unless I interrupt it). So when I try to shut it down and come back later, I have a fully booted Linux machine in the room. When I shut it down and boot Windows again after some time, it boots and immediately shuts down again.

And yes, Update and Shut Down has always led to the 'Restarting...' screen since the start of windows 10. They never fixed that.

As far as I can tell, this isn't about bridges. This is how the fediverse works. mastodon.social is technically a different "social network" from burnthis.town, for example, more so for Flipboard, Akkoma, Pixelfed and other platforms you may be seamlessly communicating without even realizing.

I've noticed that, surprisingly, the hardest Google service to replace is the Google Calendar. Is there any other cross-device, cross-platform calendar system which can be integrated into almost any existing calendar GUI (Android and Linux desktop) front-end?

Any web-only solutions for both email and calendar suck big time...
