First post here on #pixelfed !

I'm going to slowly start posting my past, present and future artwork here, starting with my sculpt of Pot Boy from Elden Ring, made entirely in Blender.

A little bit about myself: I'm a 24 year old 3D artist from Austria, working mainly with ZBrush and Blender, focusing mainly on Characters and Creatures. I also have a website where I sometimes post Blogs and other artwork 😀

Meet ✨ Noble Numbat ✨. :blobcat:
Inspired by Ubuntu release 24.04 LTS which is scheduled for release in April 2024!

Since numbats are an endangered species (currently ~1000 remaining thanks to reintroducing them into the wild) I thought of a spiritual sacred background. Materials from their natural habitat should appear, like a tree and branches. So it happened in the form of circle weaving patterns. To underline the rareness of numbats I wanted to indicate that this species is very slowly vanishing. Keeping slight gold and silver colors for nobility. The numbat is walking elegantly over tree bark. The fur color transitions from warm to colder colors. Noble Numbat is enjoying the noble time it has been given on this small but precious planet.

I designed and 3D printed a collapsible, magnetically-suspended dice tower. I'm pretty proud of it and the magnetic *snap* makes it SUPER satisfying to use. 🤩

#Introduction time!

Hi, I'm Michelle and I got into #GameDev a couple of years ago in my mid-thirties after a lifetime of wondering how games actually worked. Turns out, it's complicated!

So far I've done the obligatory too-soon dive into a "dream game" that failed almost immediately due to lack of skill, and then dialled it back a bit to work on a few game jams instead.

Here's a screenshot from my latest jam entry, a tiny low poly hidden object game for the #RainbowJam 2022 which was my first time doing anything proper with 3d. Very proud!
