My father-in-law and I were drinking the same beer and almost got them mixed up. A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I mixed our beers up and created an awkward situationโฆ
So, obviously a 3D printer is the solution! I present: the beer bottle charm print.
Prints in <5 mins so you can print one in every filament you have. Tested on a handful of bottles, but I'd love to hear your feedback.

A new ๐งต on the #COVID19 situation:
I am getting more cautious about #COVID19 again. I believe you should, too. New data:
- COVID in US wastewater has doubled in the past five weeks and is still rising (biobot.io/data/).
- US COVID hospitalizations are up 40% in a month and still rising (covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-trackโฆ).
- COVID positive rate has risen over 150% in two months. It's now matched our highest positive rate in the last winter surge, and it's still rising (covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-trackโฆ)

Lemmy ask you anything
The developers of Lemmy held an extensive AMA. Here are some of the highlights and themes of the things they talked about.fediversereport.com
"how does the developer and their worldview impact software design?"
The developers are not your average lefty that we're used to. They are authoritarians. Hierarchical, subservient, in-group vs out-group, ends-justify-means, jackbooted conspiracy cult bullshit.
How will that influence the features they prioritise, how they run their community, how they manage conflict?
It doesn't take much imagination.

The scope of this just amazes me. The sombrero galaxy is ~94,000 light years wide. Even if you could somehow manage to be in a position to see it "up closeโ (such a relative term here!) youโd be looking across 94,000 years of history all at once. I mean, I suppose we're doing that here as well.
The mind reels.
