"One thing that should be clear is the intimate link between economic wealth and political power. It is no coincidence that authoritarianism is rising in one of the countries with the highest levels of income and wealth inequality in the world, and the greatest number of billionaires. Extreme wealth gives rise to extreme power, undermining democracy."

@gustav Hmm, hard to see, but looks like the final break is on the outside top, putting the origin on the inside. Yeah, definitely, you can see where it elongated before breaking.
If the origin was on the outside, I'd say you scratched it when installing. A small slip of the wrench can be enough.
But the final break is on the outside, so more likely fatigue. Most likely cause is a too slack rig. Did your leeward shrouds go slack when powered up? They shouldn't.
You might see more when you open the swageless fitting and get a good look at the broken strands ends. Probably beaching, like this: reliability.com/resources/arti…

NVIDIA DLSS 5 announced and it's all about that AI generation
NVIDIA DLSS 5 arrives sometime "this fall" and brings with it many big enhancements, but it's all getting a little bit on the weird side.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
I don't think they're respecting the artists vision/direction by having the game with an Ai generated filter?
This looks attrocious. I don't want my games to look like a hyper edited Mr.Beast thumbnail.

SELECT * FROM `tag` WHERE `name`='XXX';SELECT * FROM `post-tag` WHERE `tid`=123;
SELECT * FROM `item-uri` WHERE `id` = 456
Danke Deine Hilfe ❤️

Official date of last frost isn't until April, which I get and there's a risk to planting anything in the ground this early. But with the increased tendency for spring weather patterns to set in so early before the final frost... it can wreck havoc on entire ecosystems.
Even the native plants that "know better" were starting to pop out and will be nipped in the bud over a barely two day span.

I am currently wrestling with an entity and world state system. I have a problem because I would want to be able to do `if node is Entity: stuff()`, but root nodes of various scenes (like a game character, and interactive prop etc) uses a node type like CharacterBody3D which properties I want to access, but also extend Entity

Foot: The Wayland Terminal Most Linux Users Don’t Know About
Foot is a minimal Wayland-native terminal emulator for Linux that focuses on speed and simplicity. A hidden gem worth exploring.Sreenath (It's FOSS)
Performance is a promising feature, but IMO it takes a feature-rich environment to get a *foot* in the door of this market. (Pardon the pun.) I am too addicted to stuff like cash/tmux integration, and a lot of Linux terms are just missing the good stuff.

Power also reveals weakness of character. Someone can be well-meaning but easily corrupted. I've seen that happen as well.
