Not going to lie: leaning out of the window of a moving steam train, desperately clutching a Leica so I don't drop it, and hoping I've got the zone-focusing and exposure right to make this shot work was a whole lot of fun.

@eumrz Yes, film is making a comeback, same as vinyl. Kodak still makes film, and you can find film labs that will develop and scan film for you in many major cities. Look through #BelieveInFilm for more.

I know it's not doing anything special compositionally, but I like this shot anyway. My wife.

The scans of my first roll of HP5 just came in. Most shots turned out quite boring but here is one of my wife that I like.

Day 26 of #photoctober2023 is "rainy" and "shot abroad"

Well, it rains a *lot* here. Like, a *lot*. I definitely don't need to go abroad to find rain!

I have literally dozens of these to choose from but I'll limit myself to four because that's what fits in a post.

I really love the soft cool tones that Fuji film stocks get in this sort of weather - these are all Superia X-Tra 400, except the evergreen which is Venus 800 #BelieveInFilm

Here's a curious fellow poking its head in and posing for a Kodak moment. Taken in August 2021 at Fort Edmonton Park.

I don't usually carry a tripod when I'm out hiking; I should get into the habit, because shots like this are just bloody lovely.

I’ve acquired a new lens and I’m excited to try it out. This model should have some interesting imperfections.

Another one from along Mayflower Gulch Trail from a hike earlier this week, elevation approx. 11,500' (about 3,500m) ASL. I'm not a landscape guy, and yet, it's what I'm shooting lately.
