I'm a Sam Ryder fan. I even have a signed copy of one of his CDs! He just came out with a break-up song that is a bit disappointing. Mind you many break-up songs make me wonder, if I want to continue supporting certain artists. One of the few songs like that which I do like is the Passenger song "Let Her Go". The song is heartfelt, the music is beautiful, and he is being respectful of his former girlfriend's autonomy. She is a human being, not a piece of property. If I were in the dating market, if might give this guy a chance. Anyone who can let go of a partner gracefully is brave and a genuine treasure.
