i've been playing arc raiders using keyboard and mouse. i don't usually play online shooters, and i mostly play games with a controller nowadays, but i'm having fun.
the game has a slide move. to perform it, you have to start holding W (to move forward), then start holding shift (to sprint), then start holding control (to crouch). you need to keep holding all three to slide.
i have no idea how to do this comfortably. this is how i've been doing it, which is ridiculous

@Muse - When we were doing our history-of-the-internet interviews I was kid of a stickler (yeah, that lawyer stuff kicking in again) about getting proper release forms.
I've wondered whether street scene films get such release forms from all of the people in the background (assuming they are just j-random people and not paid extras.)
By-the-way, my grandmother decided to take up movie/TV-ad acting in her 90's. She had to join the screen actors guild. My aunt (who does mostly stage work) also does some movie roles - but the only thing of note is that she was played an astronaut's wife in the movie "The Right Stuff", and that was quite a while back.
