I tired to like Skype as some of my friends used it and they wasn't flexible to use #MSNMessenger.
My impression was that it was slower and less comfortable than 
It had ugly ads, and no games. Its video compression engine was told superior over but I've never experienced any difference on the webcams of that decade.
I was frustrated when it killed I've never seen a company that used Skype for Business after Lync ( 4 business) was replaced too.
