Let me tell you who Thacker is.
He purports to be a journalist, but he’s a contributor to the Brownstone Institute, a far-right COVID conspiracy dark money group based in Austin, Texas. Brownstone was founded by Jeffrey Tucker, a longtime right-wing operative and advocate for child labor and youth tobacco use.
Thacker is also the Twitter Files “reporter” who uncritically amplified a BS claim that @taylorlorenz’s uncle owns the Internet Archive.
