Today it's time for one of my luckiest photos, this cute #weasel. I was initially looking for another animal when at some point it started rumbling through the grass. Since I could barely see more than just the moving grass I wasn't sure what it was first. And then it got closer and closer to the fence, so I just hoped it'd come out and prepared my camera.
And indeed, for just a few seconds it appeared, looked at something and ran away again. 😍
Update on converting one of my Butterfly Doom songs to an open karaoke system: I've finished it and submitted the file to Karaoke Mugen's database.

All you people who thought that maths would never be useful in the real world, watch me as I optimize my box with a cubic closest packed arrangement. Who’s laughing now?
It's super simple.
1 cup of plain flour
¼ tsp of salt
maybe a teaspoon of oil (optional)
enough water to make a smooth, but not wet dough (as in when stirred it just comes together and then knead until smooth).
That should make about 6 tortillas. Recipe scales well.
Use a very hot cast iron pan to cook them in, no oil, just straight in the pan.
A baked blueberry cheesecake for tomorrow’s brunch (well part of brunch anyway).
There’s two punnets of blueberries in there.
Today’s #fruitLoaf contains barberry, star anise, cinnamon, fennel seeds, carraway seeds and black cumin seeds, as well as dates, pecans, apricots and figs.
Now it’s cooled, here’s a crumb shot.

Stopped for a bit today on a boulder by a burn, just below the treeline.
These four images are all from that one rock.
Yet, still we could have taken a dozen more, and *not* captured the biodiversity within a very small space.
It occurs to us, that often when biodiversity is talked about in the media etc, most of us have no real idea about what that means.
The levels of complexity in natural habitats are almost incomprehensible.
