I guess a few niche use cases of the discussion system exist, like going back to a book you paused reading few years ago and having it give you a summary, or starting a book, wondering "have I read it before", and asking AI if this is the book where X does Y.

But I suspect the "reading recommendation system that suggests similar books based on your selection" will get used more.

Every letter we send as Hundred Rabbits has a spirograph drawing at the back, I tend to mix and match cogs until I find a pattern I like.

For a while now I was wondering if I could guess how many turns it takes to close a line based on the number of teeth and I JUST figured it out.

First, I get the gcd(cog, ring), for example gcd(42, 96) = 6, then I take the ring teeth count and divide it by that number 96/6 = 16 turns, works every time.

#syncthing has worked brilliantly for me for years now, but it's a much heavier solution. Then again, it can be configured to scan periodically (instead of trying to watch all of the files at once), and I do have a ton of files monitored with it, so for simpler applications, it might not be all that heavy.
