I was asked to send the event a "logo" of the #Uxntal programming language that read well in a small resolution.
The full Uxn mascot looked too busy, I thought about sending one of @rek's turnips that we use in the docs. But it didn't look too good next to the other fancy serious logos(unfortunately Go wasn't on the list to outderp it).
I sent this.
This is the one.

- (i build the thingy)
- you built the thingy!
- beep! the thingy looks like this. (the popup from earlier)

- slungus: thanks for building the thingy!
I'm getting really worn down by the never-ending barrage of people pushing AI down my throat.
There are some roles where I can tolerate its usage, such as malware analysis and threat detection (protecting humans makes the downsides mildly palatable).
But for programming? It's still a hard sell

Amazing work! Small tip: try out the #NextcloudWhiteboard. We are sure you'll 💜 it!
It wasn't hard to make, I wanted it to be pixel perfect, so I had to finesse things a bit. It adds about 2kb of overhead to a rom. You can see the navbar in the music player code here:

there are so many "edge case words" in english (and most languages, but i only know english), like how more than one ox become oxen, or how removing almost all of your data leaves you with a single datum. after you speak, you haven't "speaked", you've spoken.
i wish companies would occasionally insist on doing this for their neologisms. it would be very funny to me specifically (and my opinion is, of course, of great import).
now that you have a second kindle, you have two kindlen. after i zoom you, we won't have "zoomed", we will have zaam. can you bing something for me? let me know when you've bung it. i need to sync that to my galaxies S26.

Oh, and please don't rely on us using the ending of the language we got the word from. That would be silly... We'll just decide to change that over time. Sometimes. Or not. 🤷
