Another wander back to 2012 and the SIPEXII expedition. At the last sampling site (unplanned, we were stuck) - we had a visit from a Minke whale!
It decided to expand a hole that a seal made the day before - in ice about 10cm thick and not quite solidly frozen - for some room to breathe. The whale hung around for quite a while, returning to this spot to grab air.
It was .. very spectacular.

Many years ago I had a somewhat friend named Albert Pot. I suggested he'd study pharmacy so one day he could start a pharmacy called A Pot Hee!
He warmed to the idea and thus studied tropical forestry 🤨 What he did do was to print little business cards.
A Pot invites you to A Pot Thee (small improvement, yet not true to the original)
Albert handed these out to girls who would often take him up on the offer. He was a gay dude, which caused great confusion to the girls: it was really just tea.

There are more examples, like mastodonsweden.se or mastodon.nu - You're going to take action against them?
I understand you want to protect your trademark but the rules regarding what to name our instances and what hostnames/domain names we use is very overreaching.

in reply to Eugen Rochko • • •Not even Microsoft would threaten it's customers for naming a server "exchange.domain.tld".
I guess I'll just have kill my instance and leave Mastodon then. I thought Mastodon was something else. Too bad it turned out to be yet another corporate bullshit operation behind the scenes.
