#Nobara Linux, a gaming-oriented variant of #Fedora. On Nobara it was much easier to play games (for some reason I have an aweful performance with flatpaks on Fedora), but it has so many small changes, which annoyed me.
It brings its own, crappy package manager frontend. It disabled SecureBoot support. All unnecessary changes for no reason. So unclean... And steam does not work unless I start it from a terminal emulator... ๐ซจ
My new gaming PC now runs Fedora.

I have already said on a German forum that the idea is good in itself, but unfortunately the distribution does not fit in with the EU at all. Even though I use Fedora privately, it would be more appropriate to use Suse Enterprise or, as already mentioned here, Debian.
Let's wait and see if this is just a pipe dream.

Linux from Scratch.
But if you mean the other kind of beginner, who wants to use Linux, not fully understand it: #Fedora.
Fedora has such a lovely, helpful community, which is also always thankful for bug reports and contributions. It is not only easy to use but a showcase for an inclusive Open Source community.
And for those, who boot their PC only for their yearly tax return: Linux Mint. Looks ugly and is borning. But sometimes that's what people need.
