But then again, I did admin a big #Nextcloud for a client in the past and they occassionally needed to add Terabytes (!!!) of data as they basically did their entire #Workflow in it.

Which is good since they solved the headache of backing up thousands' of peoples' devices and getting stuff to work across OSes, locations and so forth as well as making stealing their devices basically pointless beyond the salvageability of a remote-bricked ThinkPad.

I recently learned that it is super easy to run your own #UnifiedPush server if you already have a #NextCloud:
- Install the UnifiedPush Provider app in the NextCloud
- Install NextPush for Android https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.unifiedpush.distributor.nextpush/

Took me like 5 min and now my #Tusky push notifications go through my own server, how cool is that

the only weakness of #NextCloud at this stage are these apps/plug-ins, I wish some essential ones could be merged to core!

I've been using a similar setup for years now and it's the only problem I have ever faced.. Other than that, Nextcloud is my daily driver for cloud sync, photos and documents.

Irgendwie ist es tröstlich, dass das Erstellen von Release-Notes / Changelogs auch für Größen wie #Nextcloud schwierig ist.

What's invalid about 1st of Jan 1970? As a retro computing user this is not an invalid date to get when moving files back'n'forth and it works perfectly when syncing with ... other locally hosted file sync software.
