in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

@neauoire this is C! ^^" i'm going to be writing a different implementation of the Uxn core (as seen in uxnmin.c) as an exercise in understanding it
in reply to lights

Hopefully srht gets back up shortly. But in the meantime, if you're looking for something from ~rabbits, I keep bleeding edge copies of near every source files:

you also have the merveilles mirrors right?

git.merveilles.town/neauoire/

in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

@d6 Do you mean that some particular repos aren't published as public? I can browse a whole bunch of your repos without logging in
in reply to Andy Alderwick

@alderwick @d6 D: no way haha! I was under the impression that the whole forge was private for some reason. I'm dumb X) Has it always been like that?
in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

@d6 It's always been like that! One aspect of privateness is that internet randomers can't create issues or pull requests since they cannot log in, but they are free to browse if the repos are public. Perhaps that was where the confusion crept in.

I'm totally fine with extra human traffic, it'll be nice to reduce the percentage that is slopscraping :flan_laugh:

in reply to Andy Alderwick

@alderwick @d6 that's great! I've been keeping my code there for personal use, but I didn't realize that I could link directly there. I'll start doing that.

I have no idea how it got into my head that this was hidden.

in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

personally i really value the ability to set up a public, read-only mirrors of my repos. i need to replicate more of git.phial.org/d6 over there.

hopefully @alderwick doesn't mind! 😅

in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

@neauoire Don't forget the Mario hat, although your explanation suggests a hidden Kirby nod in there too, good catch 😁

This Linux driver looks to catch malicious USB devices before they do any damage.

A malicious program or malicious USB devices can mimic human keystroke timing entropy along with plug-and-type latency.

This only highlights the lack of preventive and security suites on Linux.

We wonder if Firefox's decision to add a free VPN and AI can bring back lost users. 🧐

I think VPN should cover all network connections, not only web-browser.

In-browser solution is better than nothing, but still...

I've just been reminded that the first chapter, like many first chapters, is not where the fun starts on this book. I was a little worried at first that this was going to be a long angry rant. It's not at all. It just starts off wobbly.

This map shows the cost of charging an EV at home across the U.S. Home-charging is significantly cheaper in all 50 states than fueling a car with gasoline.

in reply to Sheril Kirshenbaum

We live rural and the lack of charging stations causes hesitation for my husband to even think of getting an EV. However I've worked on convincing him to get a hybrid.
in reply to Sheril Kirshenbaum

it's weird how the price differs.
In Europe with roaming in different countries I've paid between 49 and 89 ct/kWh. I've never watched those differences with buying diesel. But, it's of course still the beginning of e-mobility 💪🤓

Someone at the gym remarked on my "strange phone" this morning.

I think I might be the only person with wired earbuds, I hadn't noticed until today. For the past 15 years, I've used this little audio recorder as music player, I see a lot of people scrolling feeds between their sets instead of taking a moment to actually breath. Honestly, I think this is a better way to enjoy music while working out.

@khm they just stay on, when I use the rowing machine or do kettle bell halos, I take them off though.

sony recorders have the highest quality mics out there.

I have the PCM-M10 and you'd be hard pressed to find anything of that quality at that price point today.
