modern games are utter garbage. i went to this place called "cinema" (the only local arcade i have) and paid fifteen bucks for a single play session. it started out interestingly, where you have to match the sequence on the play token with the correct seat to begin (SPOILER: K8 means row K, column 8. not too difficult, but pretty hard for the first level. certainly tougher than the first puzzle in bioshock infinite). then there was the obligatory stealth section: open the packet of chips without alerting the other moviegoers. yawn.
then it all went downhill. ten minutes of preroll ads? people will call this a skill issue, but i couldn't for the life of me find the little [X] to dismiss the ads. i had to sit through all ten minutes. then the main experience starts. two hours of unskippable cutscenes! what is this, a kojima game? god damn. the graphics were incredible -- almost as good as alan wake 2 -- but jeez. and the cutscenes are locked at 24fps. not 30. 24. i guess it's for the "cinematic experience".
and then... it ends.

they had multiplayer with proximity chat (the further you sit from your friends, the louder you have to talk), but you instantly fail the stealth sections if you use it. what's the point?
after i got home i decided to look up speedruns of the game. apparently the DVD port (which runs at 576p???) can be beaten in seconds with a glitch involving the eject button

i met some company that asked us to set some kind of vpn because they where longing to allow acces to them only to their nextcloud (also recommended by us).
so if one day you wonder what you can implement, adding a sort of server that allow mobile device to make nat traversing if they are allowed can be a good idea for Small and medium company + normal users.
and since it's a "meet up service" but not a relay it will not impact too much your bandwidt.
Made something this morning with my hands. Something simple. Something human. Something pure and powerful. Something I wholeheartedly own. Thanks to some inspiration and guides from @rek and @neauoire Did my own take on it and figured it out. In those 20 minutes or so that it took to put it together my mind was clear. Spirits were high. Cutting the plies between the pages gave me a strong dose of nostalgia back in school when our textbooks sometimes had pages still together and got missed in the separation process. We would tear them ourselves with our rulers. The sound of the paper tearing, the jagged edge of the page. The little paper dust left on the table. These are the things that bring me calm and happiness.
it was more meditative and engaging than i expected. definitely a fun lil arts and crafts activity that i will for sure do more of. this was just a quick poc with what i had lying around. a great alternative for that bone fold thing would be just a guitar pick, that's what i used and it worked great.
Friend also suggested letter press when i told him about it which then lead me to lino pressing which i will definitely explore as well 🙂
I ran Arch for years, but eventually I got tired of having to periodically spend hours figuring out how to fix a broken update or a busted AUR package.
I've since moved on to LMDE7 because I just want my computer to "work" - I don't want to have to work extra hard to make that happen. Sorry Arch!
Mac users that also use Android, how do you transfer files and such? No MPT on the Mac that I can tell and the app I've tried, OpenMTP, is an Elektron app that I don't feel like dealing with.

Is your question about AI tools in Nextcloud? If yes: we are not an AI provider, and everything depends on the model or service you are using with Assistant.
On our end, we let people choose, and rank supported models exactly by those parameters: training data availability, open source code, ability to host locally. And you can avoid setting up AI at all, if you don't want it in your platform.
