Gotta give posthumous flowers to Jerry Lawson, the man who created the first video game console w/interchangeable cartridges.
It was a watershed moment for gaming. As this USA Today article notes, it was "the foundation for today's global video game market."
In his honor, there's a Lawson exhibit on permanent display at The World Video Game Hall of Fame at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY

I love everything about this property listing. Bizarre dilapidated terraced house remnant in the middle of a park. Incredible location. Half the photos are just gratuitous drone shots which barely include the house.

If you bring designs to a stakeholder meeting, they will assume you need help and try to make design decisions for you.
Snap them out of their semantic context to have more productive conversations, and avoid getting stuck pixeling up their ideas.

Switch semantic contexts to avoid stakeholder meddling
Despite decades of articles, books, and courses on the topic, the most common design process still looks something like this: a stakeholder tells their designer their idea, and the designer redraws…Pavel Samsonov (Medium)
I’ve been super lucky to not yet experience being given a solution by a stakeholder and asked to just “design it”… however I’m currently running into hurdles with stakeholders being hyper focused on a specific solution they saw our competitors do even though that’s likely not the most impactful thing we could work on right now.
This gave me a lot of food for thought on digging into “why” they want this thing.
