Hello, my name is Gabriel, and I paint deranged monsters or pretty science- fantasy worldbuilding things with unusual designs. Sometimes both at once. I also take photos of birds occasionally, with my fz80.

Software I use is krita, blender and RawTherapee.

There is a blue creature with a long beaked mask. the mask is bone coloured, and has a texture like bark. the eye holes are rectangular and vertical. plumes of fire erupt from its eyes, mouth, and halo made of flames. It has antlers made of tree branches, twisting in unusual angular shapes. On the antlers are hot pink flowers, the roots of which extend and attach themselves to the eye sockets of the mask. it wears rings of blue flowers on its beak. its clawed hands are raised, and a thick sickly green fog flows between its fingers. the fire it is breathing combines with the fog. it gives the impression of an otherworldly plague doctor.
A black canine-like creature with no eyes and pointed ears stands upright and slightly angles its head upwards with its shoulders slumped. its head has a pronounced curve along the top. It has a line splitting the top and bottom half of its head, like a mouth that goes all the way through, and it is leaking gold from that & its nostrils. The bottom half of the picture is it wading through green mist. In the background is a ring made of what looks to be ribbons of water with ocean mist erupting from some of them. at the right-side end of the ring, it is a larger wave-like shape, splashing into the creature's chest.
A creature with an elongated slanted face and many multiple pronged seashell-shaped ears stands with a backdrop of a purple sky with rocks reflecting light, suggesting a ringed planet. They are covered in fur and have long tufts on their chin, similar to a beard. A curtain of fur extends from both cheeks. They have a halo and wings made of what appears to be fire, which is also erupting from their mouth, nostrils and eyes. They have a large scar on the corner of their left eye, extending down to their cheek, and on their shoulders close to their neck.

Once upon a time, in the Styrian Alps, I hiked up a mountain in the early morning darkness to photograph the sunrise. That was almost three years ago now, October 2019.

I've posted a few edits of this before, but this is the original that I haven't shown like this before. Unfortunately I don't have the RAW files anymore, so I can't edit it again by today's standards and technical possibilities.
