i managed to make a somewhat decent looking icon after two hours of wrestling with inkscape. if you're a graphic designer, you have my sympathies. i'm sure there's a better way of doing lining elements up than zooming in to 5000% and making microadjustments with the mouse but that's the extent of my graphic design skills.

in reply to It's FOSS • • •Mozilla has already improved the wording of the TOS after the outrage. If you don't trust them, you can still disable sending data to them, as you could before. The ads on new tab page can also be disabled, as they could before.
You can't donate towards Firefox development, but you can buy Mozilla VPN and Firefox Relay instead, which achieve the same goal.

And regardless of how they want to spin it, and how many times they try to change the ToS and FAQ, saying anything even remotely close to "we have the right to use your data to operate Firefox" does still mean they can sell your data, if selling your data is required to operate Firefox, which is yet another sneaky change to the software away from being a thing.
Anything short of "we will NEVER sell or otherwise make available for third parties by any means ANY of your data, for ANY purpose, barred judicial obligations" means they will sooner or later share your data with third parties.
