For a while now I was wondering if I could guess how many turns it takes to close a line based on the number of teeth and I JUST figured it out.
First, I get the gcd(cog, ring), for example gcd(42, 96) = 6, then I take the ring teeth count and divide it by that number 96/6 = 16 turns, works every time.
