I work as a #malware hunter by day, but I have a fairly broad set of interests.
For instance, I've been a ceramic artist for almost 20 years. It's just a hobby, but yesterday, I was able to use it to volunteer at a fundraising event for a local #Boulder arts group called Studio Arts, and spent hours showing kids of all ages how to throw pots on a wheel.
It was exhausting and exhilarating to get out in the sun and teach the simple joy of art to kids who never experienced it before.

If you edit a Mastodon poll, changing the options at all will reset the poll to zero, even if people have already voted on it. It will do this automatically without warning, so only edit options if you're okay with resetting the poll.

p.s. It makes sense that the poll would reset in order to prevent abuse, but the problem here is no warning and inconsistency. You can edit the main part of the post without resetting its poll, which gives the impression that editing doesn't reset anything.
It would be nice if Mastodon had a confirmation dialogue box ("This will reset your poll, are you sure?") if you try to edit the options.

Working towards an open-source flow battery! Initial aim is to make a development kit of sorts that we (or whoever wants) could run workshops with to teach people basic principles, and then take home for further experimentation. Working with my remote collaborator Daniel (chemisting.com/) on electrolyte and cell approaches, currently just seeing if we can match literature results. Short answer - seems like we can do it!
