Slimbook launch the KDE Slimbook VII with AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 / Radeon 880M
In the market for a new powerful laptop ready for the holiday season? Perhaps give a look to the new KDE Slimbook VII.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
I’m super out of touch with hardware these days. I used to watch tech Youtube all the time but after building my last PC 10 years ago, I stopped keeping up.
With that said, after 10 years, it’s time to build a new one. I used Micro Center’s build your own PC tool and came up with this (see attached PDF). If you know what’s up with hardware feel free to have a look and give some feedback 😀
Purpose: This is meant to be my workstation and I aim to make my builds last for 10 years. That’s why I’m shooting for top-of-the-line CPU/RAM. I want to be able to do video and audio recording/editing and other things that require a lot of cores, hence the CPU choice.
Note: I already have an AMD Radeon 7900 XTX which will go into this build.
