Und zu guter letzt favorisiert sie alle diese Beiträge mit ihrem ureigenen Profil @AwetTesfaiesus@sozial.awet-tesfaiesus.de, was u.a. dazu führt das sie Kopien von all diesem Material auf ihrer eigenen Instanz für sich privat abgespeichert hat.
Wenn sie dann, zum Beispiel am Jahresende ein kleines Grußwort zu Weihnachten von eben diesem persönlichen eigenen Profil in unseren sozialen Netzwerken mit im Text eingebetteten Links, die auf jene Mediendateien verweisen versendet, bekommen Kontakte von ihr überall auf der Welt, auf Instanzen in Kenia, Eritrea oder Australien, ebenso wie eventuell per Email oder RSS feed, ein Lebenszeichen ihres Kontaktes Awet in Deutschland. Eine Information die dezentral auf vielen unterschiedlichen Servern im Internet, praktisch 100% Zensurresistent abgespeichert wird.

Unboxed my #Plushtodon Mastodon plushies this morning. Their larger sibling is at home as it shipped last week. These two had to hop the pond and be signed for at the post office this morning.
My review: 15/10 ⭐️ They are so soft, squishy and best of all no odd smell. Plushies sometimes smell and need to be aired out. Wherever/however these are manufactured, they are scent free which added the extra 5 ⭐️
Exactly. That famous image makes evolution look like a straight path, but it’s really a branching, messy process. Life splits, adapts, overlaps, and sometimes reconnects. New addition to the display: a #Mastodon #Plushtodon! 3rd new item in the past year... I got the bald eagle at Fort Stevens State Park near Astoria, Oregon and the kangaroo at Port Campbell National Park in Victoria, Australia. The Linux Tux penguins and XCOR Lynxes are all more than a decade old. The Plushtodon was shipped from Germany - but I didn't go there to get it. #SocialMedia
We have a mailing list that we put on our blog whenever we announce some new merch is being worked on. Roughly half of the plushies have been sold before we posted about it on #Mastodon, just from that mailing list (and people checking the shop manually, I guess). And those new sticker sheets got sold out fully (but are being restocked, hopefully within the week).

Today I am stepping down from my role as the CEO of #Mastodon. Though this has been in the works for a while, I can't say I've fully processed how I feel about it. There is a bittersweet part to it, and I think I will miss it, but it also felt necessary. It feels like a goodbye, but it isn't—I intend to stay on and continue to advise the new leadership and contribute, because Mastodon—and the fediverse—is one of the very few beacons of hope for a better web.
Three years ago today, we opened the doors to our corner of the Fediverse. 💙
What started as an idea has grown into a friendly space for good conversations, smart humor, and authentic interactions. It’s been amazing watching this community grow with all of you.

I understand that #ATproto should be for everyone, but decentralization means you don't have to allow everyone on your server. They can run their own and everyone can decide how to deal with that. The company doesn't need to make these decisions. She knows this.
