There is a blue creature with a long beaked mask. the mask is bone coloured, and has a texture like bark. the eye holes are rectangular and vertical. plumes of fire erupt from its eyes, mouth, and halo made of flames. It has antlers made of tree branches, twisting in unusual angular shapes. On the antlers are hot pink flowers, the roots of which extend and attach themselves to the eye sockets of the mask. it wears rings of blue flowers on its beak. its clawed hands are raised, and a thick sickly green fog flows between its fingers. the fire it is breathing combines with the fog. it gives the impression of an otherworldly plague doctor.

I wanted to share the first #pride series I made. I made so very many versions of this.

A lot of my work ends up just being stuff I'd wear on a shirt. And then I try be be inclusive if the design calls for it. So it really ends up simplistic sometimes, but it's an aesthetic I like.

This #art piece I also wanna share has been one of my biggest works recently.

Most of my pieces are centered around my #originalcharacter s RGB-chan and CMYK-chan. As the names can tell they're based on the two main color modes. They're both #LGBT and dating! 🥰 So what you'll find here are lots of fluffy #wlw drawings!

RGB-chan and CMYK-chan went to get filled crêpes and RGB-chan being the social media nut she is took lots of pictures, including one surprise smooch towards CMYK-chan! The latter now hides behind her snack very flustered while her girlfriend shows her the cute photos.

Last year I started to really get into more complex backgrounds. Especially urban areas, perspective and less "natural" sceneries were what I wanted to challenge myself at. So I drew my #OCs (as I always do) in their natural surroundings - a modern urban city filled with #graphicdesign puns and references!

I think I actually got some kind of coherent story out of it - completely unplanned!

Warm steamed buns to go - who would be able to resist? A short trip to the local Seven-Magic to get some snacks was definitely not on the To-Do list of CMYK-chan but alas. Some Vector brand Chips spontaneously landed in her grocery bags just like some pop-up gum and glyph shaped fruit gummies. Her girlfriend was in a snacking mood and who would CMYK-chan be if she would refuse her girlfriends secret weapon: her puppy eyes.
"Hurry up you slowpoke! We're gonna miss the train!" RGB-chan yelled, grabbing CMYK-chans hand. The metro to Kerning Road is about to depart, passing through Crop Square and Pixel Street. The sun is about to set, engulfing her girlfriend into a warm atmosphere as she sprints towards the closing doors.
Tapped out - that day way way too long for CMYK-chan. She sunk half asleep onto her girlfriend RGB-chans shoulder while riding the train back home. The sun is setting through the train window, shinining onto the skyline. Every day is just made better spending it with your partner. ❤️

RGB-chan is not very strategic in her RPGs (neither am I...) and CMYK-chan got stuck as her gf's personal healer but she doesn't mind. Except when they run into a wave of foes, the "Pixels" with some of them even trying to ambush the duo.

Battle commences! RGB-chan the Fighter ran into a wave of foes, little two dimensional squares on tiny legs, called the Pixels. She is about to hit the A button to attack, when her girlfriend CMYK-chan the Mage tries ro alert her of an ambush of Pixels behind them. RGB-chan already lost a chunk of health, so was it really that smart? ... Probably not.

The closest thing I can provide for #Mermay is one character from a germans #childrensbook series I illustrated (I'm not much into mermaids myself). The series is about a little northern german girl who got lost and got taken in by a squad of seagulls, one of which is a Mer-Gull named Pamela.
The gulls all care very lovingly for the little girl who is looking for her dad.

Moin! That's the most common greeting in nothern germany and Hamburg specifically. We see three seagulls, one short, one a Mer-Gull and one tall one in a fisher outfit and a little girl in a polka dot dress walking through lots of symbolic elements of Hamburg. From the buildings to the constant bad weather to the iconic fish-bread. So many impressions from such a large city.
Pamela the Mer-Gull is helping keeping the little girl Lotti afloat in the ocean. Lotti is having a lot of fun while the other two gulls are watching, one mildly distressed , the other slightly annoyed from the small boat on which they travel. Those human kids, always so troublesome!
A cozy comfy atmosphere, Lotti and her human friend Nele are reading books in a little canopy filled with pillows. The small seagull sits next to them while the Mer-Gull and the tall gull are peeking from behind, checking on them. They got pretzel sticks as snacks. Maybe that's what the tall gull is secretly after?

That design was originally supposed to just be a background the thing I actually wanted to draw, but now that I've drawn it I think I prefer the background design on its own.

Maybe blend modes can save it, but I kinda want to keep trying to make the foreground work without blends, because it's meaningful to me. #art #MastoArt #DigitalArt

I'm Mina and I'm working on a comic about witchcraft and occult in 17th century. It's a horror. Sometimes it's funny. Mosty it's not but you can't have everything in life It's set in Eastern Europe.
Other than that I like to draw over detailed patterns that look bad when scaled down on social media. I also study biology and work with dead things. It's not necromancy because sadly it is no longer part of academia.
