i wanted GANGREL!!!

But it does sound interesting. Bloodlines was definitely a good game and it's incredible that it had to take 21 years to get a second game in the series.

There was done clunkiness to some of the mechanics in bloodlines, but the story telling and atmosphere was next level

I'd wish they developed small and lightweight standalone apps instead of creating yet another huge and bloated office suite 🙁

I admit, I am fascinated by how X users see the internet. I think some of them genuinely don’t know what websites are.

And to answer DHH's question in the screenshot, it's because X is a dead platform.

10 months ago, I decided to completely abandon Google as my provider for email, calendars, files, and more.

It has been a long journey. Fifteen years ago, Google wasn't an evil corporation.

How did the "do no evil" corporation turn into a true monster that feeds on personal data? The one thing I haven’t fully ditched yet is search, so I'm using Kagi, as I've mentioned before, and exploring SearXNG.

RIP, Google Workspace (G Suite).

I wish we could push more Linux into the world somehow. Not only would it help users, but it would also benefit ecosystem hugely.

Look at Steam Deck, it has done a massive amount for Linux. People will say Android but I don't see how that contributed so much to the ecosystem.

I'd love to see more laptops with Linux pre-installed. And at competitive prices, not just some outliers.

RIP Windows. You were once known as less spyful than versions 8+.

@voks semantic versioning is still in use! However we want to offer an alternative name for every version that is easier to remember and navigate, which is helpful for our less technical audience.
in reply to Nextcloud 📱☁️💻

I doubt that using two different version definitions provides more clarity than confusion.

I was really hoping this would be a winner, but even with pretty good lighting, glasses off, and a C920 2ft from my face, I couldn't get a stable track. Too much jitter.

Happy #WorldPhotographyDay !

This is one of my favourite images from last autumn in Scotland's Ancient Caledonian Forest. In the dark of morning, I hiked up this pathless steep sided hill to gain a view over the magnificent glen beyond and was treated to an exceptional sunrise. Amazing to see all these regenerating pine saplings growing on the higher slopes.

Mid-century Modernist teacups by Figgjo Norway.

These are so quirky and playful. They used to be somewhat abundant. So, people thought nothing of passing them onto secondhand stores. Like many things from that era, this is changing. I may be forced to collect something else! But really, I don't need lots of things. These in particular make me happy.

They remind me of the country teaparties my mother used to hold. The young ladies attending might have been living on farms, but they knew how to dress up with hats, gloves, and beautiful dresses! I was usually situated on the floor between my mother and the coffee table.

@Ivy Blackledge Whitfield @Joyce Donahue @Katherine Bond @Janet Logan 🏳️‍⚧️ @Jodi @Susan ✶✶✶✶ Virtual tea party! Feel free to join. Even if you aren't named, you are still loved!

in reply to Muse

@Susan ✶✶✶✶ Sending gentle hugs. I hate colonoscopies. I hear they don't make people fast so much these days. That would be one small win.
