Users Tux_Linux and Szybet have been working on a new firmware for the PineNote called QuillOS, it uses hrdl's kernel tree along with a custom user interface built on the Niri tiling window manager. It's currently still in development which you can follow the progress of in their Discord server (discord.gg/WbB9ZFYNRG).

I guess most of those failed not because they were bad, but were really different of what Linux should be, they tried too much to be just like Apple and naturally failed, but I am glad to see that now we are getting much better things like those that are much better and not proprietary!

Despite this, Deepseek insisted up and down that it was not conscious, and when pressed, I only managed to get it to admit that from a panpsychist perspective it has a consciousness similar to what one might find in a rock.
