Ah yes, a double-cat on my sewing. Quite effective! I couldn't pick between the photos so just put together all three of the best ones.

After a few searches I came across this: library.gamehistory.org/reposiโ€ฆ โ€” I'd love to see this box of maps.

It reminded me of all the elaborate notes and drawings me and my siblings would make of the worlds of the games we played, taking us from the screen to paper. I guess that rarely happens these days.

โ€˜Sunlight in the Blue Roomโ€™ is an 1891 painting by Anna Ancher, an innovative Danish painter who was a central figure with the Skagen Painters. With its many shades of blue and the sunlight pouring through the window, the painting is one of her most famous works.

Those shadows cast by the foliage in the window are very evocative for me. The painting reminds me of summer afternoons at my grandparentsโ€™ farm. Some of my yesterdays.
