Termux doing all the heavy lifting here, but going through the setup has been quite good fun.
- Samsung Android phone - Termux + the various other needed packages, primarily Termux:Boot, termux-api-*, cronie - IPV6rs - wireguard for http access - Tmate for deterministic remote ssh access (could not get ssh to work with IPV6rs, unclear why) - Networking is via the onboard Sim Card.
To-do / question: - why does it not work from cellular connections? Assuming there is an issue in the IPV6rs configs, but cannot figure out why, works fine from non-cellular connections - publish documentation / cite sources - test out in Wild Nephin National Park, plugged in to solar rig at Ballycroy
Must add: I was hoping to achieve all this on a #postmarketOS device. I have pmOS running on a Samsung A3, but was never able to get the modem to work for it to connect to cellular.
Did a hard pivot to this Android setup, and enjoyed the process, but I did so because I could not figure out how complex it would be to get pmOS on this newer Samsung A40.
One issue I did run into was that the newer Samsung was networked locked. I had to apply to Three.ie (cellular provider) to get the device unlocked.
(In retrospect, chances are that this was also happening on the older Samung A3, but tried another sim card from another provider and was not able to get a data connection.)

I'm up at my Dad's today and won't be able to join. Years ago I used to get excited about the Diwali (Indian festival of light) and Matsuri (Japanese Culture) festivals, but haven't been able to attend lately. It's fun to learn about different foods and clothes, etc. At one Matsuri festival, we bought Yuko-chan and the Daruma Doll from the author, Sunny Seki. I suspect we enjoyed it more than our kids we got it for. LOL!
We've got a time conflict this afternoon. But next week?
BTW, it was raining here for Holi so I've got a lot of unused brightly colored powder. (And no, I will not be tossing that about inside the house.)
We are preparing for the grand event of our year (actually we do several such grand events a year). The next one is Oy! Ster - Passover+Easter, lamb and ham, black and white cookies and hot cross buns, Hava Nagila and Ava Maria, a seat for Elijah, a cat temporarily renamed Agnus Dei.

No one was even bringing him an aspirin, much less proper medical help. She held him cuddled in her arms, fearful that he was about to die. The commercial company that was running the place put their principles on the wall by their front desk. It read like something straight out of Robocop.
I gathered lots of stories at the time. None that I could use, because I discovered that the government could easily find out who blabbed, then deport them back to their country where in many cases the likelihood was high that they would be killed by their government. EDIT: wipe and shred and co. won't work on an SSD. use something like blkdiscard instead.

sudo shred -vzn 0 /dev/sdX

it certainly wonโt work properly on any CoW filesystem, or if you have LVM snapshots, or any other number of things. That tool is for extremely basic cases only (ext4 on an hdd).
