One of these is social.privacytools.io, an instance whose primary purpose is to provide a platform for discussing how to protect themselves from corporate (think google/facebook) and government (think NSA & Edward Snowden) surveillance.

While blocking some instances can be understandable, this level of blocking is overkill. If you insist on listening to #FediBlock, the least you can do is contact the instance admins and try to work something out beforehand.

such folk used to stand on soapboxes in parks and were considered part of the novelty/local entertainment. Maybe we start buying soap in boxes again, thus returning their traditional platform (rest assured, oz has puhlenty of the same, but they all take their cue (prattle) from the same source - overexcited imaginations). if the listeners/viewers aren't scared, shocked or disgusted enough to chime in, the show has failed. very troll.
