Cloudy sky. In the distant there are darker clouds. In the front is a field of lupins. To be clear, you can only see lupins 
so half of the photo is lupins. The other clouds. Does this make sense? The Lupins are not fully in bloom yet, but the purple colour is already clear.

"Raking Light", Drakensberg 2024. We had risen in the dark to make the short but steep walk up to this view point on our final morning of a 75km traverse of the berg, and were greeted to views with such depth and light of a wonderful quality. The winds were strong but nothing could distract from the immensity of our surroundings.
