Hey developers,
Interested in #contributing to a smol but neat #FOSS project? I'm looking for help with feature requests for my #mailserver side project: https://github.com/t-lo/mailserver/issues
Mailserver is "a no pain, minimal configuration, full-featured dockerised mail server" based on postfix and dovecot. Goal of this project is to ship a DKMS / DMARC / SPF mailserver system whose emails are accepted by GMail / Outlook etc. out of the box.
(boosts welcome!)

@bob
This mess you talk about is not solved by more tech we already have most of what we need.
* Open media is #4opens based on trust, the current ActivertyPub is a relatively #KISS good example of this.
* Privacy is encrypted p2p chat, which the are meany good #UX mature #FOSS projects you can find
The change we need is social, getting people to use the different approaches for different needs, this is surprisingly difficult.
Bridges while dangerous are needed.

Thanks for (a) keeping calm, and (b) providing an example for a good response. The current situation is that many commercial codes do the opposite.
As I posted elsewhere, "This is a well-considered, non-reactionary, measured response to the Red Hat removal of access to their source code, and I recommend it to all #FOSS authors & suppliers for consideration. We have to make the pain of this decision fall on IBM and Red Hat, not on open source users."
